Pukyong National University participated in the International Bali Marine Science and Cultural (IBMC) Short Course at FKP Udayana for 9 Days
The International Bali Marine Science and Cultural (IBMC) Short Course organized by the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries of Udayana University in collaboration with the College of Fisheries Science Pukyong National University, will take place for 9 days, starting from January 19, 2024 to January 27, 2024. The event is designed in an intensive program that discusses marine science and the richness of Balinese culture. The focus of the program is the development of scientific knowledge and a holistic learning experience for the students. This Short Course, as stated in the program book, allows students to expand their studies in a tropical environment while diving into marine science topics relevant to their home institutions.
A total of 8 students from Pukyong National University (PKNU) and 8 students from Udayana University's Faculty of Marine and Fisheries will participate as participants in this Short Course. Professors from both institutions, both from the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries of Udayana University and Pukyong National University, will provide current topics on the latest research in the field of marine and fisheries.
Dean of FKP, Prof. I Wayan Nuarsa said that during this activity, participants will conduct research in small groups, enriched with laboratory and field activities to improve their analytical skills. "It is important to note that in addition to scientific activities in the field of marine science, participants will also be introduced to the rich culture of Bali. The island is known for its warm culture, exotic temples, and stunning natural backdrop. With all these experiences, it is expected that participants will bring home unforgettable memories" he concluded.
