Scientific Oration of Dr. I Dewa Gede Palguna, S.H., M.Hum

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - After more than 35 years of carrying out his swadharma as an academic on the Red Campus of FH UNUD, Dr. I Dewa Gede Palguna, S.H., who is also a former Judge of the Indonesian Constitutional Court for two periods had the opportunity to deliver a scientific oration entitled "Dispelling Darkness: Reflections from the Story of Mochtar Kusumaatmadja" at the 61st Anniversary of UNUD, Saturday (29/09/2023) at Widya Sabha Auditorium, UNUD Jimbaran Campus.

His scientific oration began with the story of the Father of International Law in Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Mochtar Kusumaatmadja, S.H., LL.M. who is a thinker born from the academic tradition of universities. Prof. Mochtar produced the phenomenal work of Archipelago Concept. However, the birth and acceptance of the Archipelago Concept went through a journey that was not easy, both intellectually-academically and politically.

As an academic, Prof. Mochtar Kusumatmadja supported the university's main mission to dispel darkness. UNUD as a public university in Bali on its 61st Anniversary is committed to "Building Synergy Creating Achievement" which aims to get rid of darkness by using the heirloom of widya (the mother of all knowledge and truth) to undoubtedly give birth to bright figures of society, nation and state.
