Dissemination of the Results of the Evaluation of the Implementation of the HIV/AIDS Test and Treat Policy in Indonesia
In connection with the completion of the Evaluation of the Implementation of the HIV/AIDS Test and Treat Policy in Indonesia which was carried out by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (KMKP FK Unud), Dean of FK Unud, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., attended the Evaluation Results Dissemination event which was carried out in a hybrid manner with the main location point in Prof.'s room. dr. I.G.N.G. This activity is intended to find out how far the test and treat policy has been implemented in Indonesia and provide recommendations to increase program effectiveness.
Opened directly by the Dean, on this occasion Dr. Januartha expressed his hope that the results of this dissemination could provide information regarding efforts that could be made for future improvements and create new policies to accelerate freedom from HIV/AIDS.
After opening, the event was continued by the presentation of the results of the quantitative evaluation by Dr. dr. Anak Agung Sagung Sawitri, MPH., and the results of a qualitative evaluation by Prof. dr. Pande Putu Januraga, S.Ked., M.Kes, DrPH.
This event also invited two speakers, namely dr. Rudi Wisaksana, Sp.PD-KPTI, Ph.D., and Ignatius Praptoraharjo, Ph.D who led the discussion session on the results of the quantitative and qualitative evaluations.
Participating in this dissemination event were Representatives of the Directorate of P2PM HIV Sub Directorate of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, dr. Endang Lukitosari, MPH., as Head of the STI HIV Working Team, WHO Indonesia representative, Provincial Health Office representatives from 18 provinces in Indonesia, as well as District Health Office representatives from 31 districts/cities in Indonesia.
