The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) through the Occupational Health and Safety Team (K3) invited the Bali Province Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) to provide education and socialization on the practice of handling earthquakes and fires in the campus environment. Dean of FK Unud, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., and Head of K3 FK Unud, Dr. I Made Kerta Duana, S.KM., MPH., welcomed the arrival of the BPBD Team led by Nyoman Suka Arnawa at the Dean's Meeting Room, FK Unud Denpasar Building. On this occasion Dr. Januartha said that the arrival of the BPBD team would be very helpful in providing assessments and evaluations in technical implementation related to K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) at FK Unud.
"Our hope is that the BPBD team can provide input regarding matters that need to be completed regarding OSH at the Faculty of Medicine. So that this OSH concept can be implemented on an ongoing basis." he said
The BPBD team took this opportunity to provide education and practice in earthquake and fire emergency evacuation simulations to students, lecturers and education staff. Besides the evacuation simulation, the BPBD team also provided education on handling post-disaster situations.
