Peer Educator Competition in the Context of National Children's Day 2023

 

The Special Division of Student Community Concerned for Maternal and Child Health Community Health Student Association (DK KMP KIA HMKM) FK Unud held a series of National Children's Day 2023 activities, namely the Peer Educator Contest (LPS) on Sunday, July 9 2023. This activity carries the theme "The Soul of A Leader is Born From A Brave and Caring Generation” which was held in the Nusantara room, Udayana University Agrocomplex Building.

 

It is hoped that by holding this Peer Educator Contest, it can create a generation of people who are brave and care about the problems that surround us so that they can become examples starting from the smallest scope such as their peers so they can participate in moving to overcome these problems and can support the creation of a golden generation 2045.

 

The event was attended by the Coordinator of the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program who was represented by the Student Affairs Coordinator of the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program, Ngakan Putu Anom Harjana, S.KM., M.A who also officially opened the LPS National Children's Day activities, BEM representatives, HMKM heads, Division Heads Specifically for the Community of Students Concerned about Maternal and Child Health, as well as Chair of the 2023 DK KMP KIA National Children's Day Committee. In his remarks the PSSKM Student Affairs Coordinator, Mr. Anom said that children are the golden generation who will continue the struggle of a nation where currently there is a demographic bonus phenomenon where most of the the population is young.

 

The 2023 Peer Educator Competition was attended by 11 junior high school participants and 10 high school participants where 5 finalists from each category had been selected to advance to the final round. The three judges who are the judges in this competition are:

1. dr. I Gusti Agung Ayu Decy Partiwi, S.Ked

2. Ngakan Putu Anom Harjana, S.KM., M.A.

3. I Kadek Agus Pranata, S.Kep

 

At LPS this time the winners from the SMP category were:

• 1st winner: Stephen Jefferson Tjandra from CHIS Denpasar Middle School

• 2nd place: Ni Komang Olivia Matalia Putri from SMP Wisata Sanur

• 3rd place: Ni Putu Gendis Cahyanata Pramesti from Denpasar 2 Public Middle School

 

While the winners for the SMA category are:

• 1st winner: Ni Putu Sri Achindya Trishna from SMK Negeri 3 Denpasar

• 2nd place: Ni Komang Trisia Dikayana from SMK Negeri 3 Denpasar

• 3rd place: Arya Putra Hartono from Tunas Daud High School
