Celebrate BKFK-61 Anniversary With the Spirit of Sharing
A series of celebrations for the 61st anniversary of BKFK, Dean of FK Unud, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes and the academic community of the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University did community service to the Yasa Kerti Orphanage, Karangasem-Bali. (5/3/2023).
This community service activity for the orphanage was coordinated by the educational staff of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. The arrival of the Unud FK group was welcomed directly by the Manager of the Yasa Kerti Orphanage; Kadek Suastini who expressed her gratitude for the assistance and donations given to the orphanage and hoped that the Faculty of Medicine would be blessed to progress and become a field of blessings for those in need.
On this occasion, the Dean handed over assistance in the form of groceries, medicines, stationery and necessities that could support the needs of the Orphanage.
In the midst of a family atmosphere with the orphans, Dr. Januartha conveyed the purpose of this visit and provided brief information about the profile of the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University to broaden the horizons of orphanage children.
"This visit is part of a series of celebrations for the 61st anniversary of BKFK which is in line with the Tridharma of Higher Education. Our goal in providing this assistance should not be seen from its material value, but to motivate younger siblings to pursue their goals." he said.
The event at the orphanage took place in a friendly manner filled with question and answer sessions, discussions, consultations and health education delivered by the Vice Deans, Coordinator of the Travel Medicine Unit; Dr. dr. Made Agus Hendrayana, M.Ked, as well as the person in charge of medical undergraduate education; dr. I Gde Haryo Ganesha, S.Ked., M.Biomed., who was also present to support the activity.
