International Cooperation of the Faculty of Law of Udayana University and the Faculty of Law of Da Paz University-Timor Leste: Establishment of Doctoral Study Program (S3) in Law

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id – The Faculty of Law at Da Paz University-Timor Leste (UNPAZ) conducted a benchmarking at the Faculty of Law UNUD as well as the signing of an international collaboration. The UNPAZ Faculty of Law team consisting of the Dean (Dr. Leonito Ribeiro, SH., MH) and the Deputy Deans were received directly by the Dean of the UNUD Faculty of Law (Prof. Dr. Putu Gede Arya Sumerta Yasa, SH., M.Hum), Coordinating Doctoral Program Doctoral Program Legal Studies and Information Management Unit Coordinator and Cooperation.

 

Previously, UNUD and UNPAZ already had a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Faculty of Law UNUD and the Faculty of Law UNPAZ and had already implemented PKS by holding an International Seminar in 2022. The visit of the UNPAZ Faculty of Law this time conducted benchmarking regarding the establishment and management Doctoral Study Program (S3) in Law.

 

The establishment of a Doctoral Study Program (S3) in Law is required to have a composition of Professors and Teaching Lecturers with Doctoral degrees from within and outside UNPAZ. For this reason, the Faculty of Law UNPAZ will invite Professors and Teaching Lecturers with Doctoral degrees at the Faculty of Law UNUD as lecturers in the Doctoral Study Program (S3) in Law at the Faculty of Law UNPAZ. Prior to the realization of this matter, the two parties (FH UNUD and FH UNPAZ) signed an Activity Implementation Agreement for the establishment of a Doctoral Study Program (S3) in Law as the legal basis for organizing cooperation. Hopefully in the future there will be more cooperation in academic and non-academic fields done by both parties.
