Accreditation of Health Science Specialist Study Programs in the Field Udayana University ENT-KL Faculty of Medicine

The Independent Accreditation Institute for Health Higher Education (LAM-PTKes) conducted a field assessment in the context of accreditation of the ENT-KL Health Science Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This accreditation is carried out to maintain and improve the quality of education and services at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

Located in Dr A A Made Djelantik's room, the Field Assessment by LAM-PTKes was held for 3 days from 10 to 12 November 2022 with 2 assessors, namely:

1. Dr. dr. H. Edi Handoko, Sp.T.H.T.K.L (K) (Assessor 1)

2. Dr. dr. Lina Lasminingrum, Sp.T.H.T.K.L (K), M.Kes (Assessor 2)

The event began with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes and opened by the Chancellor of Udayana University Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng.,IPU and at the same time opened the Accreditation of the ENT-KL Health Science Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

Dr. Januartha in his speech said that the ENT-KL Health Science Specialist Study Program has so far produced graduates who devote their knowledge in Balinese society and outside Bali. In addition, the ENT-KL Health Sciences Specialist Study Program has also achieved achievements in academic and non-academic fields. With the rapid development of technology in the health sector and demands from the community and stakeholders, the study program must maintain the quality of the educational process and the rules determined by the study program. Today, the ENT-KL Health Sciences Specialist Study Program has a team of assessors who see firsthand whether the documents sent are in accordance with the conditions in the field.

"We hope that all staff in the study program can work together with the assessor team to provide the data requested by the assessor team so that they can provide a real and complete picture of the ENT-KL Health Science Study Program," said Dr. January

Prof. Antara said that Udayana University is currently entering its 60th year, has three campus locations including the Sudirman campus, Nias Island campus and Bukit Jimbaran campus and has 118 study programs of which 70% have received superior and A accreditation and the rest are still B accreditation. In the future study programs that are still accredited B will be encouraged to be superior and superior study programs will be pushed to international accreditation.

"The role of the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University is very important so that whatever the steps of the study program at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University is ready to support and oversee and work together to achieve the goal," said Prof Antara."The Faculty of Medicine consists of 33 study programs of which 14 study programs have received excellent accreditation. Today's assessment agenda is;

1. Assessor team meeting with the head of the study program management unit, and a vehicle for practice

2. Presentation and clarification by the head of the study program management unit

3. Discussion of the assessor team with the head of the study program management unit

4. Interviews and assessments of the adequacy of lecturers who teach in the study program

5. Interviews and assessments of the adequacy of education personnel regarding academic and non-academic services.

6. Interviews and assessments with students representing all students from each generation regarding academic and non-academic services.
