The Faculty of Medicine, Unud received the arrival of representatives from The University of Sydney in the context of exploring cooperation in the field of Higher Education Tri Dharma, located in the Prof. Room. I.G.N.G Ngoerah, FK Building, Denpasar. This meeting aims to continue the realization of activities at the Faculty level based on the MOU that has been signed by both parties. (07/11/2022).
The faculties that The University of Sydney are exploring for cooperation are the Faculty of Medicine, specifically the Undergraduate and Professional Doctoral Study Programs, the Bachelor of Nursing and Professional Nurses, the Bachelor and Masters of Public Health Sciences and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, particularly the Pharmacy Study Program.
The arrival of The University of Sydney, Australia team was welcomed directly by the Dean of the Unud Medical Faculty, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., and the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D.
He expressed his deepest gratitude for choosing Udayana University as an institution for this collaboration, and hoped that collaboration could continue, especially in the fields of education and joint research.
The event continued with a presentation on the profile of The University of Sydney by the Manager of Global Health Office, Faculty of Medicine and Health, Ms. Leanne Howie, FK Unud Profile presented by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., and continued with the presentation of the FMIPA Profile by the Coordinator of the Unud Pharmacy Study Program (Dr. Eka Indra Setyawan, S.Farm., M.Sc., Apt). After the presentation, the event continued with a discussion session discussing possible collaborations that could be carried out, including Visiting Professor, Staff and Student Exchange, Curriculum Development, elective Program, Short Course, and Joint Research. Cooperation activities will be preceded by the preparation of a Cooperation Agreement Document between the two parties.
The event was also attended by the Coordinator of the Unud International Affairs Office, Dr. eng. Nyoman Pujianiki, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, UPIKS Coordinator, Coordinator of Bachelor of Medicine Study Programs, Doctoral Profession, Bachelor of Public Health, Bachelor of Nursing, and Nursing Profession, Coordinator of Pharmacy Study Program, Head of Department of Nursing, Public Health and Preventive Medicine along with several staff lecturers from related Study Programs.
