Fapet Unud Lecturer Holds Service in Belimbing Village Pupuan Tabanan

Udayana University Faculty of Animal Husbandry Lecturer (Fapet Unud) Dr. Ir. Ni Wayan Siti, M.Si. and Ni Made Witariadi, S.Pt., MP., collaborated and joined the team with Ir. Ni Nengah Soniari, M.P. and Ir. Ni Wayan Suniti MS. A lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, Unud, through the Partner Village Development Program (PPDM) has carried out Community Service in Belimbing Village, Pupuan District, Tabanan Regency. (Friday, October 14, 2022).

This activity was opened by the Deputy Head of Belimbing Village and attended by PKK women in Belimbing Village. Where the purpose of the activity is the assistance of PKK mothers in the belimbing village to support culinary tourism, namely palm sugar agrotourism and the development of typical food from the starfruit village, namely entil. In his speech, the representative of the belimbing village expressed his gratitude for choosing the starfruit village as a partner village. In this service activity, culinary training/demo was carried out for the typical Belimbing Village, namely entil and herbal tea which was held at Wantilan, Belimbing Village. How to make entil, how to serve and until the entil dish is served. This culinary is a special dish for tourists who will visit Belimbing Village. Belimbing Village is preparing to be able to maximally become a Tourism Village by optimizing all the potential of the existing Village. The event ended with a group photo session.
