Orthopedics 101 is taught by the General Medical Student Association.
In order to increase new knowledge about problems, prevention, and health management related to spinal cord injuries and diseases, the General Medical Student Association (HMKU) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University in 2022 held a National Seminar and Regional Workshop on a hybrid basis with the theme Orthopedics 101: Spinal Disease as a Common Health Problem Nowadays, which is located in the 4.01 and 4.02 lecture halls of the Faculty of Medicine, Unud. The National Seminar and Regional Workshop were attended by 585 participants from the general public, students, and doctors. This event presents resource persons who are competent in their fields, namely Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B., Sp.OT(K), Dr. dr. I Gusti Lanang Ngurah Agung Artha Wiguna, Sp.OT(K), dr. Ketut Gede Mulyadi Ridia, Sp.OT(K), and dr. Ida Bagus Gede Arimbawa, M. Biomed., Sp.OT., and dr. I Nyoman Tri Pramartha as moderator.
The 2022 HMKU National Seminar and Regional Workshop were opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. Komang Januarta Putra Pinatih, M.Kes who in his speech
said that this seminar is a very important event because it is beneficial for the participants and the general public.
