Unud Dissemination of Dyslipidemia to Prevent Atherosclerosis in Communities in Ketewel Village, Sukawati, Gianyar
The increasing number of deaths due to coronary heart disease (CHD) and to support the activities of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the Department of Histology, Faculty of Medicine, Unud, carried out community service activities with the theme: Blood Cholesterol Examination and Dissemination of Dyslipidemia to Prevent Atherosclerosis in the Community in Ketewel Village, Sukawati, Gianyar. Activities consist of disseminating dyslipidemia to prevent atherosclerosis which often leads to death from coronary heart disease (CHD) as well as blood cholesterol checks to detect dyslipidemia conditions.
The activity went smoothly, attended by staff from the Department of Histology, Faculty of Medicine, Unud, the Head of Ketewel Village, the Bendesa Adat of Ketewel Village and the community of Ketewel Village.
The Village Head welcomed this very positive activity and hoped that it could be carried out in a sustainable manner.
