Faculty of Medicine Unud Provides Education on Integration of Oral Surgery and Orthodontics

 

In an effort to improve the knowledge of students, the Bachelor of Dentistry and Professional Dentistry Study Program (PSSKGPDG) FK Unud held an expert lecture on oral surgery with the theme "Malocclusion And Its Relation to Body Posture: Maxillofacial Surgeon Perspective" located in the meeting room of Building 2 of Unud Hospital. This guest lecture presents speakers who are competent in their fields, namely: drg. Eka Marwansyah Oli'i, Sp. BMMF, Sub Sp. Orthognan-D(K)

In his remarks, the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Dr.dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT (K) expressed his hope that the Bachelor of Dentistry and Dentistry Professional Study Program would develop even more so that it would become the pride of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

"We appreciate the Bachelor of Dentistry and Dentist Profession Study Program that has carried out the UKP2DG exam and achieved 100% graduation. We hope that in the future we can maintain this achievement because currently dentists are needed by the community." he said

The purpose of holding this activity is so that the academic community has the knowledge and skills in integrating oral surgery and orthodontics according to the latest technology.

This event was also attended by the Coordinator of the Bachelor of Dentistry and Professional Dentistry Study Program, Dr. drg. Putu Lestari Sudirman, M. Biomed, Head of the Department of Dentistry and the Dentist Profession, Dr. drg. Mia Ayustina Prasetya, Sp. KGA, and all Lecturers and Students of the Dentistry Profession PSSKGPDG FK UNUD.
