Public Lecture of the Communication Studies Program FISIP Udayana University with the Central KPI
Denpasar, Wednesday (11/5). The Communication Studies Program FISIP Udayana University held a public lecture with the theme of the activity "Digitalization of Broadcasting, Dynamics and Content" with Mr. Mohamad Reza as the Indonesian Central KPI Commissioner as the resource person. In its implementation, this activity was also attended by Mrs. I Dewa Ayu Sugiarica Joni, S.Sos., MA as the Coordinator of the Communication Studies Study Program as well as the moderator who guided the continuity of the event.
The public lecture took place at 13.00 WITA at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Udayana University, Denpasar, Bali. More than 70 students of the Communication Science study program participated in the activity. In this public lecture, Mr. Mohamad Reza explained the duties and roles of supervision of the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI). In addition, he also explained how KPI also monitors various broadcasting scopes including radio, television and new media in Indonesia. In addition, he also explained what is meant by digital broadcasting. Where digital broadcasting uses a broadcast method using a TV/digital broadcast receiver, namely a set top box (STB).
To note, this activity is aimed at providing understanding to students, especially the Communication Studies program regarding the broad scope of KPI's duties in conducting broadcasting supervision. "KPI is not just monitoring broadcasts, but more than that," explained Mr. Mohamad Reza.
