Four Faculties at Udayana University to be Assessed by FIBAA, Two of Which Will Take Place Online
Denpasar - LP3M Udayana University (Unud) held a FIBAA Assessment Preparation Coordination Meeting at the Postgraduate Building Hall, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Friday (11/4/2025). The meeting, led by the Head of LP3M, was attended by the Rector and Vice Rectors, Heads of Institutions, Heads of Bureaus, Faculty Leaders and Heads of related UPTs, USDI, KUI UP3M and the Taskforce Team and the LP3M Team.
The Head of LP3M Unud, Prof. I Nengah Sujaya, said that this coordination meeting was in preparation for the onsite FIBAA visitation, namely clusters 1 and 4, namely the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Law. All related parties were invited to this meeting for a series of FIBAA activities that will take place in June and September. The on-site visitation will take place in June and the online one will take place in September. This meeting will focus more on on-site preparation because it requires many things related to planning, technical matters including policies from the leadership.
Currently entering the final phase of the 7 steps of FIBAA visitation preparation. The visitation in June will assess two clusters, namely the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Law, where the steps will be explained by the visitation coordinator at the university level. In the FIBAA assessment, there will be 54 quality criteria assessed, of which there are around 29 mandatory and 7 criteria that must be met.
Rector of Unud Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana in his direction expressed his gratitude to LP3M and the team and faculty who had prepared this process so that it could be continued because it had been quite a long time for the preparation. The Rector asked for the seriousness of all parties related to what had been prepared in order to get the expected results where there were 14 study programs targeted to achieve FIBAA.
His party at the leadership level is committed to providing maximum support, with existing limitations it will be optimized to meet existing criteria. This is to achieve the vision and mission of Udayana University, one of which is related to accreditation in this case internationally. The Rector invited all parties involved to identify the things needed and conduct simulations before the visitation.
