FK Unud Provides Bullying Prevention Education to Elementary School Students in East Java
The Research and Community Service Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University collaborates with the Undergraduate Study Program in Medicine and the Professional Doctor (PSSKPD), the Undergraduate Study Program in Nursing and the Nursing Profession (PSSKPN), the Undergraduate Study Program in Dentistry and the Dentist Profession, the Master's Study Program in Biomedical Sciences, and The Clinical Microbiology Specialist Study Program, held Community Service (PKM) activities which focused on counseling about earthquake evacuation simulations and counseling about bullying to students at SD Negeri Ngadisari 2, Bromo, East Java (28/11/2023).
The event opened with a report from the UPPM FK UNUD Coordinator, Dr. Agus Eka Darwinata, Ph.D regarding the objectives of implementing Community Service activities "Earthquake Evacuation Simulation and Counseling on Bullying". The event then continued with remarks by the Principal of SD Negeri Ngadisari 2, Bromo, East Java, Marsini Astuti, S.Pd. SD., M.M. In her speech, Mrs. Marsini expressed her hope that the information presented by the FK Unud team could be useful for students at SD Negeri Ngadisari 2, Bromo, East Java, as provisions and additional knowledge to learn about disaster preparedness and prevent bullying in elementary schools.
Followed by 52 students and female students, the PKM FK Unud team provided insight and information regarding preparedness in disaster management and preventing bullying in elementary schools. At the end of the event, basic food packages were also handed over to all teachers at SD Negeri Ngadisari 2, handing over downstream products resulting from research by lecturers and students (Dr. Maulana Setiawan, M.Biomed. (AAM)) in the form of sunscreen from natural ingredients, kakadu extract.
