Increase Capacity in the Field of Molecular Biology, FK Unud Organizes Hands on ELISA and qPCR Workshop
The Integrated Biomedical Laboratory Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University in collaboration with PT. ELO KARSA UTAMA held a Hands on ELISA and qPCR Worshop at the Tjokorda Rai Meeting room, Cakra Vidhya Usada Building, Denpasar. (Thursday, 11/16/2023)
The purpose of this workshop is to improve knowledge and skills regarding ELISA and qPCR techniques that play an important role in carrying out research in the Biomedical field.
This workshop presented three (3) resource persons with direct practitioner backgrounds, namely:
1. Wahono, M.Si who presented the material Introduction Basic Principle ELISA
2. Yustine, M.Si. (Product specialist) presented qPCR Technique and Its Application.
3. Made Angga Akwiditya, B.Sc (Hons), M.Sc (Application Specialist) presented ELISA Technique Application in Medical Research.
The event was opened by the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes., who in his speech said that the development of molecular biology is so rapid that training like this needs to be held in order to increase the capacity of knowledge owned by participants.
"The development of molecular biology is very rapid, so in the future we must continue to update the science of molecular biology so that it can increase capacity and have a positive impact on our respective institutions," he said.
The event was also attended by the Coordinator of the Integrated Biomedical Laboratory Unit Dr. rer. nat. dr. Ni Nyoman Ayu Dewi, S.Ked., M.Si. and the workshop participants who came from representatives of Ganesha University of Education, Al-Azhar Islamic University, Bali International University, Denpasar Polytechnic, and Prof IGNG Ngoerah Hospital.
