Comparative Study Visit to Muhammadiyah University of Kendari
The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University received a visit from the Chancellor of Muhammadiyah University, Kendari, who took place in the Dean's Meeting Room, FK Unud Denpasar Building. (13/9/2023)
The group was led directly by the Chancellor of Muhammadiyah University of Kendari, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Muhammad Nurdin, M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN., Eng and received directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes. The purpose of this visit is to discuss or exchange information regarding plans to establish a Faculty of Medicine at Muhammadiyah University of Kendari.
In his speech, Prof. Januartha said welcome to the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and thank you for visiting the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. The Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University strongly supports the establishment of a Faculty of Medicine at Muhammadiyah University of Kendari and to establish a Faculty of Medicine it must be supported by infrastructure, human resources, anatomy lab, network hospitals and other labs.
"The hope is that with the formation of the Faculty of Medicine at Muhammadiyah University of Kendari, the people of Kendari will use this opportunity to study at the Faculty of Medicine at Muhammadiyah University of Kendari and after completing their education they can use their knowledge as health workers in the local province," said Prof. January.
This event was also attended by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Dr. Dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K)., Coordinator of the Undergraduate Medical Study Program, dr. I Wayan Sumardika, S.Ked., M.Med.Ed., Ph.D., Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit (UPIKS), Dr. Dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, S.Ked., M.Kes., and representatives from the Coordinator of the Medical Professional Study Program Dr. Dr. Ni Made Renny Anggreni Rena, Sp.PD(K).
