Visit of Nampart Healthcare Australia to the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Nurse Professional Education

 

The Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Nurse Professional Education (PSSKPPN) received a visit from Nampart Healthcare Australia on Tuesday, 29 August 2023 in Prof. Room. I G.N.G. Ngoerah. The visit to PSSKPPN is a series of site visits from the 2023 Aged Care Conference which will be held from 28 August 2023 to 1 September 2023 with the theme The Future of Aged Care Meeting in Paradise.

 

The activity began with the presentation of the intent of the visit to PSSKPPN by Craig Hooper, founder of Nampart Healthcare, which was followed by remarks by the Deputy Dean for Public Affairs and Finance, FK Unud, Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes who also opened the event.

In this activity, the PSSKPPN Coordinator explained the curriculum and learning process for nurses in Indonesia, especially in Bali, then continued with the delivery of a research and community service roadmap from the Community, Family and Geriatric Nursing divisions as well as NUCLEUS Community Service activities (Nursing Udayana Caring People Around Us) which underway in the Environment/Br. Junjungan, Ubud by Ns. Ni Luh Putu Eva Yanti, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Kom.

 

After the material presentation session ended, the activity continued with a discussion on the academic process of student nurses in Indonesia and in Australia, as well as opportunities for collaboration in the form of training for nurses in the community. Discussions regarding opportunities for collaboration in the fields of research and education agreed to be discussed further. The activity ended by going around to see the learning facilities in the Faculty of Medicine and taking pictures together.
