Exploration of Collaboration with Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, Taiwan

The Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University welcomed the arrival of Shu-Wen Chang, MD., MBA / Vice President of Far Eastern Memorial Hospital (FEMH) in the framework of exploring cooperation in the field of Tri Dharma of Higher Education, located in Prof. Room. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah, Faculty of Medicine Unud Building, Denpasar (09/06/2023).

 

The arrival of the Vice President and his team from FEMH Taiwan was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes. On this occasion Dr. Januartha expressed his deepest gratitude for choosing Udayana University as the institution for this collaboration, and hoped that this collaboration could continue with the Faculty of Medicine in all areas of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

 

The event continued with a presentation on the profile of FEMH by the Professional Research Assistant, Mr. Gilang, and Profile of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University which was presented directly by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Faculty of Medicine, Unud, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D. The event continued into a discussion session discussing possible collaborations that could be carried out, including staff and student exchanges, joint research, and other tridharma collaborations.

Cooperation activities will later be preceded by the preparation of a Cooperation Agreement Document between the two parties.

 

This event was also attended by representatives of RSUP Prof. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah, Director of HR and Academics at Unud Hospital, representative of the Udayana Office of International Affairs, Dr. dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, M.Kes., as coordinator of UPIKS FK Unud, Dr. dr. Urged Made Wihandani, M.Kes, as Head of the Biochemistry Department, coordinators of specialist study programs, and coordinators of professional study programs.

 

Meanwhile, from FEMH, Dr. Tsai I-Chang as Chief of AI Development, and Ms. Jolene Huang as Chief of International Medical Center.
