Types of implementation of activities in the form of seminars, group discussions and questions and answers. On the third day, the material presented was standard setting and training, and preparations for OSCE H-1. On the fourth day, the activities carried out were a simulation of OSCE station exams and follow-up plans.
The purpose of holding the training is to provide an overview and preparation for the implementation of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) test for nursing institutions with national standards. Currently the number of nursing educational institutions is increasing and affecting the quality of graduates, so efforts are needed to standardize graduates. What can be done is to apply a competency test through the Indonesian Nurse Competency Test (UKNI) using the OSCE method. Through the OSCE the assessment format can be more credible to evaluate the clinical competence of nursing students compared to the Traditional Clinical Examination (TCE) method.
The training participants consisted of 28 PSSKPPN FK UNUD lecturers, laboratory staff, and Clinical Instructor (CI) representatives from Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah and Udayana University Hospital. It is hoped that through this activity PSSKPPN can improve the ability of nursing study program managers, such as developing matrices, developing OSCE questions and assessment rubrics, preparing standard settings, facilities, reviewing OSCE exam questions and other preparations needed in preparing OSCE Nursing activities.
