Beginning of a collaboration with Taiwan's Far Eastern Memorial Hospital (FEMH)
In order to expand international cooperation, the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) held an online meeting with the FEMH International Medical Center Team. (3/2/2023)
The event was started by remarks by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D, who expressed his gratitude for the offer of cooperation from FEMH and hoped that collaboration could occur between the two institutions in the field of Higher Education's Tri Dharma.
On this occasion, the Chief of International Medical Center FEMH, Jolene Huang, expressed their desire to collaborate not only in the academic field but also in the research field.
"FEMH, which is a Teaching Hospital, is developing innovation and medical research in the fields of cell therapy and precision medicine. The Telemedicine Platform service has also been used for health services which is very useful during the Covid-19 pandemic." he said
On this occasion, the FEMH Research Assistant, Gilang Putra Bahari presented the Profile of the FEMH Hospital accompanied by a video showing the profile of FK Unud. The two institutions will continue the meeting with the planned arrival of FEMH to the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University in March 2023 to discuss collaborations that can be carried out in the future with various Study Programs within the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University. This event was also attended by Grace Wan as a Specialist of the International Medical Center FEMH, UPIKS Coordinator, Coordinator of the Study Program Specialist in Pediatrics, Clinical Pathology, Surgery accompanied by several teaching staff.
