Medical Emergency Workshop and Seminar in 2023 (SKGD).

SKGD is an annual activity carried out by the Janar Dūta Medical Assistance Team which discusses emergency cases that often occur in the field. On this occasion, SKGD 2023 raised the theme "TEMPORARY: The Emergency in Sport Traumatic Injury" which was addressed to the general public, especially students and health workers.

 

SKGD 2023 invites experienced speakers who will present 3 materials, namely:

1. The Overview of Sport Traumatic Injury by Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B,Sp.OT(K)

2. The Orthopedic Management of Sport Injury by dr. Ida Bagus Gede Arimbawa, Sp.OT

3. The Treatment and Rehabilitation of Sport Injury: Kinesiology Taping by I Pt Gde Surya Adhitya, S.Ft, M.Fis, Ph.D

 

The 2023 SKGD activity was held on Saturday, 4 February 2023 which took place in the Nusantara Room, Agrocomplex Building, Udayana University and was opened directly by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, M.P.H., Ph.D

 

In his remarks Prof. Ady said that it was very good to get knowledge about emergencies in sports earlier because during college it was rare to get more in-depth lessons. He stated that this knowledge has a very broad scope, not only exercise but also travel, so there are various risks that can occur.

"To become a medical doctor, one must be able to handle emergencies so it is hoped that this activity can provide new knowledge for participants in terms of handling emergencies." he said.
