Soft Skill Training for Students of the Specialist Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University
The Professional Education Implementing Coordination Unit (KP3) together with the Education Coordinating Committee (Komkordik) FK Unud/RSUP Prof.Ngoerah held Soft Skill Training activities for Specialist Study Program Students at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year.
As a doctor, hard skills are not the only skills that need to be honed, but also soft skills. Soft skills become essential and important for our daily lives, which are shown through interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. Therefore, this soft skill training is carried out which is expected to be applied by students during the study period.
This training was chaired by Dr. dr. Dyah Kanya Wati, Sp.A(K) and also coordinated by Dr.dr. Ni Made Renny Anggreni Sp.PD-KHOM-FINASIM which lasted for 2 days, namely 24 to 25 January 2023 in Rooms 4.01 and 4.02 FK Unud. The students involved amounted to 159 people.
On the first day, the material starts from the Submission of Ethics and Discipline of Students at Prof. RSUP. Ngoerah, then continued with the Philosophy of Prof. IGNG Ngoerah Hospital which was presented by the main director of Prof. Dr. Dr. Ir. Ngoerah, dr. I Wayan Sudana, M. Kes. The event continued with the presentation of Doctor Professionalism, Good Learner and Clinician, Good Presentation, and Principles of scientific writing delivered by four lecturers of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
The second day was followed by a presentation on the Philosophy of Medical Education at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, which was presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Dr. Unud. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes. The program for the next session is a session to practice the material given in the previous material, namely there are role play sessions, power point presentations and journal review presentations which are carried out per group according to what has been distributed. The participants were enthusiastic and entertained because before starting the presentation, each group presented interesting yells. The event was continued by giving prizes to groups and participants by delivering the best constructive feedback and ended with a closing ceremony.
