FK Unud welcomed the Kirby Institute Team from UNSW, Australia.
Wales, Australia, the Dean of FK Unud received the Kirby Institute Team which took place in the Dean's meeting room (12/12/22).
The event was started by remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes. He expressed his deepest gratitude for being willing to come to discuss possible collaborations that could be carried out in the future by the two institutions and hoped that the collaboration could continue, especially in the fields of education and joint research. The event continued with a presentation by Prof. Januraga regarding the previously ongoing collaborative activities between FK Unud and UNSW and the possibility of continuing collaboration in the future, especially with the Doctoral Study Program at FK Unud.
Prof. Dr. dr. I Gde Raka Widiana, SpPD-KGH who was present representing the Coordinator of the Doctoral Study Program expressed his desire for collaboration related to doctoral by research and hoped to be able to send doctoral students to take part in the program from UNSW.
The event continued with a discussion to discuss possible collaborations that could be carried out, including Visiting Professors, Staff and Student Exchanges, and Joint Research. Cooperation activities will be preceded by the preparation of Cooperation Agreement Documents between the two parties.
This event was also attended by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Coordinator of UPIKS FK Unud. Meanwhile, the other Kirby Institute team is Dr. Benjamin Bavinton.
