Social Accountability and International Accreditation in Medical and Health Profession Education; Unud FK Public Lecture

Udayana University Faculty of Medicine held public lectures wrapped in the form of Meet the Expert. This activity is a collaboration between FK Unud and The Bali Meeting of Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health with the topic "Social Accountability and International Accreditation in Medical and Health Profession Education" which is held in Prof. Room. dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah FK Unud (07/12/2022).

This activity presented the main speaker Prof. Dr. Robert F Woolard, MD, CCFP, FCFP, LM from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada moderated by Desak Ketut Ernawati, S.Si, Apt., PGPharm., M.Pharm., PhD. The event was opened by the Dean of FK Unud Dr.dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, who in his speech expressed his gratitude for Prof. Robert Woolard's arrival and shared about social accountability in connection with international accreditation.

In the second session, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, conveyed about the experiences of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University in planning and implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education activities which are part of social accountability.

Prof. Robert Woolard conveyed three topics, namely:

1. Session 1: What is social accountability and why is it important?

2. Session 3: What might social accountability mean in the Indonesian context?

3. Session 4: How the Indonesian's social accountability may contribute to the global development through international accreditation?

 

The activity was attended offline by Study Program Coordinators and Study Program TPPM Coordinators, UP3M Coordinators, UP2M Coordinators, UPIKS Coordinators and AIPKI region 5 representatives online
