Orthopedic and Traumatology Study Program Commemorates Indonesian Independence Day with Mangrove Planting
Commemorating the 77th Indonesian Independence Day and as a tangible manifestation of concern for the environment, the Orthopedic and Traumatology Specialist Study Program of FK Unud held the Goes 1000 Mangrove Orthopaedic at the Tanjung Benoa Mangrove Forest, Nusa Dua. (17/8/2022)
This event began with the release of the fun bike group by the Dean of the Unud Medical Faculty, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, in the Unud Faculty of Medicine Campus area and finishes in the Tanjung Benoa mangrove forest.
Arriving at the finish point, the participants continued by holding a flag ceremony commemorating the 77th Indonesian independence led by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K) as the ceremony inspector.
After the flag ceremony, the Coordinator of the Orthopedic and Traumatology Specialist Study Program, Dr. dr. I Gusti Ngurah Wien Aryana, S.Ked., Sp. OT(K), directs participants to plant 1000 mangrove tree seedlings at 3 points in the designated location zone.
Also present in this activity were the Head of IDI Denpasar Branch, dr. I Ketut Widiyasa, MPH., FISQua., Head of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, dr. I Wayan Suryanto Dusak, Sp.OT(K), Specialist Study Program Coordinators, specialist students (residents), TBM Janar Duta, and KMPL FK Unud.
