One of the speakers, Putu Kirana Astri, presented about " TIME ANALYSIS OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION CASE STUDY ON THE OUTSIDE OF NOVOTEL HOTEL FACILITY BUILDING WORK PROJECT, BENOA-BALI."
In his presentation he explained that in the implementation of a construction project, there are details of the time of project implementation and the work that must be done during the construction period.
The details of the time can be stated in the form of a time schedule. The purpose of making a time schedule in a project is as a time plan for completing the project and can be used as a measuring tool to determine the progress and setbacks of work performance that has been achieved. This research was conducted by reviewing the implementation time of the Novotel Hotel renovation project, Benoa – Bali. This hotel is located on Jalan Pratama No. 70, Tanjung Benoa, South Kuta, Badung Bali. The implementing contractor for this project is PT. Tunas Jaya Nusantara is a construction service company founded in 1995 and affiliated with PT. Tunas Jaya Sanur Group. This project has 2 locations that must be completed, namely the Penida Area on the east side and the Nirwana Area on the west side with the scope of structural and architectural work such as swimming pool work, restaurant, garden pergola, and other external facilities buildings. The construction used is a reinforced concrete structure consisting of beams, floor slabs, and walls. In addition, there is a steel structure on the columns and roof. The period of implementation and maintenance of this project work is 6 months or 180 calendar days from the date of issuance of the First Handover Minutes.
This study uses qualitative methods, namely collecting primary data and secondary data. The results showed that the progress of the project from week 1 to week 15 had reached 14.03%, which was a decline of 50.71% from the time schedule. The cause of this project's setback was the difference between the forcont drawings and the existing conditions in the field, resulting in many adjustments in the field. Other causes are erratic weather conditions and delays in the arrival of materials. In overcoming project delays, the contractor adds manpower and working hours in the form of overtime work and carries out work simultaneously where the work does not depend on each other so that it can catch up with the implementation time according to the time schedule.
