Increase Competence, Faculty of Animal Science Unud Benchmarking to Faculty of Animal Science and Professional Engineer Program UGM

The Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science, Unud, Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Tirta Ariana, M.S., IPU., together with leaders from all faculties participated in a series of Leadership Meetings organized by the Chancellor and the leadership of Udayana University. The meeting was held for several days and took place in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. In an effort to improve the competence of the faculty, on the sidelines of the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science at Udayana University together with the Chair of the Senate of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Mahardika, M.S., who is also a senior lecturer in the Doctoral Study Program of the Faculty of Animal Science, Unud, conducted benchmarking to the Faculty of Animal Science, UGM.

This benchmarking activity was held on Monday, June 13, 2022, which aims to discuss the development of the Animal Husbandry Undergraduate Study Program (S1), Master of Animal Science (S2), and Animal Science Doctoral Study Program (S3) in an effort to prepare for the internationalization and management of Higher Education funds. During the visit, the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science at Udayana University and the Chair of the Senate at Udayana University were warmly welcomed by the leaders, lecturers, and teaching staff at the Faculty of Animal Science UGM, including: Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science UGM, Prof. Ir. Budi Guntoro, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng. Head of Animal Science and Industry Study Program, Ir. Tri Satya Mastuti Widi, S.Pt., M.P., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPM.; Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Prasetyo Widyobroto, DEA., DESS.; and Dr. Ir. Sigit Bintara, M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN Eng.

The Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science, Unud said, “The implementation of this benchmarking is one of the efforts of the Faculty of Animal Science at Udayana University to continue to take part in any changes and developments in the livestock sector in the world of education. Faculty of Animal Science UGM is one of the reference universities to move in a better direction”. The Chair of the Unud Senate emphasized that "One of the efforts to improve the internal and external quality and competence of the Faculty of Animal Science Unud is through cooperation, and keep learning and keep trying to make it happen".
