BRAND X ASIA, Holds Academic Writing Workshop

Jakarta, the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) together with the Consortium for Southeast Asian Studies in Asia (SEASIA) organized an academic writing workshop as part of The 4th SEASIA Biennial Conference 2022, which will take place on 10 June 2022, offline. (10/06/2022)

The academic writing workshop activity aims to assist researchers in honing their writing skills through learning about text organization, structure, and argumentation. In this activity, workshop participants will learn about preparing manuscripts for submission to academic journals and receive feedback on their writing, such as manuscript main questions, arguments, and presentations.

The workshop, which took place at the Le Meridien Hotel, Jakarta, presented two resource persons, namely Dr. Thung Ju Lan from BRIN, and Dr. Hendricus Andy Simarmata from the University of Indonesia. Participants who attended were participants who had collected the full paper and the manuscript had passed the selection. One of the participants, Gede Indra Pramana from Udayana University, the script was discussed in the workshop.

It is hoped that after this activity participants can understand and apply the lessons learned, and are ready to complete the initial draft of the research paper. The activity continued with a discussion on publishing opportunities and prospective academic journals will be part of the workshop. (tr)
