Purnama Kedasa Piodalan Padmasana, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University

Coinciding with Rahina Purnama Kedasa who fell on Wraspati Paing Dukut (17/03/2022) a pujawali was held at Padmasana FTP Unud. As is known, Padmasana, which is located in the area of the FTP Unud campus, is supported by the entire academic community of FTP Unud.

 

The Pujawali ceremony this time was attended by the Dean, Deputy Deans, Lecturers and Employees as well as the entire Hindu academic community. Pujawali is routinely held every year at Purnama Kedasa's rahinan. In addition, the Pujawali Padmasan FTP Unud also coincided with the piodalan at Pura Dalem Balembong and Pura Widya Mahasaraswati which were located in the Udayana University Campus area.

 

 

Piodalan preparations at Padmasana FTP were carried out from Wednesday (16/03/2022), namely by carrying out cleaning/service activities, preparing for ceremonies and making Penjor. Piodalan preparation involves lecturers, staff and students. This Piodalan is raised by the Pemangku Pura Dalem Balembong starting from 13.00 – 16.00 WITA.

 

 

The piodalan procession took place solemnly, all prayers and mantras were chanted, as well as the sound of bells and holy hymns further adding to the solemnity of the pujawali which ended with a joint prayer. In this pujawali, the Rejang dance, which was danced by students of FTP Unud, was also staged. Through this series of Piodalan Padmasana FTP, it is hoped that the entire FTP academic community can foster togetherness and strengthen their sense of kinship. In addition, I hope that the entire academic community will find serenity and safety in carrying out all activities at the beloved Green Young Campus.
