Targeting an increase in the number of IISMA Awardees 2024, KUI Holds Socialization Roadshow at FH UNUD

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Monday (11/12/2023) In order to accommodate the high interest of students to take part in lecture programs abroad, the Indonesian government through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia makes many programs for students to study abroad.

One of the most popular programs is IISMA (Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards). IISMA is a scholarship scheme from the Ministry of Education and Culture to participate in mobility programs for one semester at renowned universities and leading industries abroad that can open opportunities for Indonesian students to get to know international academic and cultural diversity. IISMA itself offers 2 schemes for undergraduate and vocational students. The socialization material was delivered by 2 representatives of the UNUD International Affairs Office (KUI) Team, Made Cinthya Puspita Shara, S.H., M.H., and I Gusti Ngurah Bagus Pramana Putra, S.Kom. The participants in this activity were FH UNUD students totaling 79 people. 

This roadshow activity aims to expand the dissemination of IISMA information to all faculties at UNUD and further finalize the preparation of students to compete on a national scale as IISMA awardees. It should be noted that the central IISMA registration timeline is very short, currently KUI Unud has opened internal IISMA Unud registration to address this. KUI will conduct a document selection process in advance and assist in the preparation faced by students. In addition to administrative requirements, IISMA also sets English language certification scores as one of the main requirements. A certificate of physical and mental health is also a major requirement needed in this IISMA selection (MMPI).
