Increasing Competence Regarding the Implementation of Artificial Intelligence, FK Unud Holds a Workshop

 

In order to improve competence and implementation related to the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (UP3M FK Unud) held a workshop with the topic "Anticipation and Implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)" at the Prof. Meeting Room. Dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah, FK Unud Denpasar Building. (19/12/2023)

 

Guided by Ns. I Kadek Saputra, S.Kep., M.Erg as moderator, this workshop invited two speakers, namely:

1. dr. Agus Eka Darwinata, Ph.D., who presented material on AI and Disruption in the learning process

2. dr. I Putu Fajar Narakusuma, Sp.An-TI who will present material about the use of AI in the learning process

 

Followed by lecturers from each study program, it is hoped that the participants will gain an understanding and updated knowledge about AI, use this technology to support the learning process and be able to anticipate negative impacts in the assessment process.

 

This event was opened by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, FK Unud, Prof. Dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D, who on this occasion said that currently AI is developing very rapidly and its use in the learning process must be accompanied by proper understanding and implementation to prevent negative impacts.

"With this workshop, it is hoped that lecturers can better understand the use of AI in supporting the learning process and preventing the negative impacts of AI advances." he said.

 

After opening, the event continued with presentation of material by the speakers, practical use and discussion sessions with the participants.
