Extension of Collaboration between Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud and PT. Mitra Sinar Jaya
The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) has extended its collaboration with PT. Mitra Sinar Jaya (MSJ), which was marked by the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) by both parties and also the signing of the IA (Implementation Arrangement), took place in the Nation Room, Udayana University Rectorate Building, Bukit Jimbaran Campus (Thursday, 9 November 2023). The signing of this PKS was carried out after the signing of the MoU between Udayana University and PT. Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia. Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng. signed the PKS with the Director of PT. Sinar Jaya Partner (MSJ) I Gusti Ngurah Darmayuda. In this activity, a Scholarship Awarding event was also held by the Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia to students of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University symbolically, totaling 10 people (4 students from the Class of 2020 and 6 students from the Class of 2021) who covered tuition fees from semester 3 to semester 8.
Collaboration between Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud and MSJ covers the fields of Academic Collaboration and Industrial Research to Produce Competitive Graduates in the Animal Husbandry Study Program. This extension of collaboration is a concrete form of commitment from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University to improve quality together with strategic partners. After the signing of this PKS, Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud continued this collaboration with collaborative activities holding a Public Lecture on the same day with the topic "Building Competent and Work-Ready Livestock Human Resources through Collaboration between the World of Education and the World of Industry". The PKS signing event ended with the giving of souvenirs from Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud to PT. Sinar Jaya Partners (MSJ). Hopefully, the signing of the MoU and PKS cooperation will help graduates and prospective graduates of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University to be ready to work in the livestock industry in general.
