Building Competent and Work-Ready Animal Husbandry Human Resources, Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud Holds Public Lecture

The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) has carried out Public Lecture activities, located in the Nation Room, Udayana University Rectorate Building, Bukit Jimbaran Campus (Thursday, 9 November 2023). The public lecture was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng. and attended by Deputy Deans, Unit Coordinators, lecturers and students within the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud.

The topic raised in this Public Lecture activity was entitled "Building Competent and Work-Ready Livestock Human Resources", which was delivered by resource person Mr. Baso Alim Bahri, SPsi., M. Adm. SDA., who is the GM of HC and GA PT. Charoen Pokphand Eastern Indonesia, moderated by Ir. I Wayan Wijana, M.P. In his presentation, Mr. Baso Alim Bahri conveyed the importance of soft skills in work. “In our daily work, soft skills are very, very important. "That is precisely what will make us grow and develop in the company," explained Mr. Baso Alim. The company definitely wants its employees, if there is something to report, there is an initiative. "Well, this is why soft skills are important, and why livestock human resources who are competent and ready to work are said to be competent and ready to work, one of which is in terms of knowledge but also soft skills they must have," continued Mr. Baso Alim. After the presentation of the material, discussion activities continued. This guest lecture event ended with the presentation of certificates to the speakers and moderator.
