Animal Science Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud Holds Guest Lecture, Biomolecular 2023
The Animal Science Doctoral Study Program (S3) of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud held a 2023 Biomolecular guest lecture activity, taking place in the Postgraduate Building, Floor 3, Sudirman Campus (Friday 10 November 2023). The guest lecture was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng. and accompanied by the Deputy Dean I for Academic and Planning Affairs, the Doctor of Animal Science Study Program Coordinator, the Master of Animal Science Master's Program Coordinator, the UP2M Coordinator, the UPIKS Coordinator, lecturers and students within the Unud Faculty of Animal Husbandry.
The topic raised in this guest lecture was entitled "Biomolecular Approach in Improving the Genetic Quality of Animals", which was delivered by Mr. Dr. Ir. Maskur, M.Si. who is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Mataram University with moderator Dr. Ir. Ni Putu Sarini, M.Sc. In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unud Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng. conveys the importance of biomolecular technology. "Regarding biomolecules, it's actually nothing new, so this technology has developed very rapidly. "It's just that here we haven't made much use of this technology," said Dr. Warmadewi. Maybe with further enlightenment from the resource person, we will be more interested and interested. A lot of research has been done in the biomolecular field. "So, biomolecular research is not only in breeding but all fields of science can utilize this technology," continued Dr. Warmadewi.
After the presentation of the material, discussion activities continued. This guest lecture event ended with the presentation of certificates to the speakers and moderator.
