Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud Animal Husbandry Study Program Lecturers Trusted as Resource Persons for Technical Guidance on Artificial Insemination Services
In an effort to increase the population of Bali cattle in Bali Province, the Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Division of the Bali Province Agriculture and Food Security Service is carrying out Technical Guidance activities for Artificial Insemination (AI) Services, located at the Grand Palace Sanur (Wednesday, October 4, 2023). Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Gde Sumardani, S.Pt., M.Si, a lecturer from the Bachelor of Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, is believed to be one of the resource persons in the IB service technical guidance, with the theme "The Role of Inseminators in Increasing the Bali Cattle Population". This activity was opened directly by the Head of the Bali Province Agriculture and Food Security Service, Dr. I Wayan Sunada, SP.M.Agb. and followed by inseminators in all districts and cities in Bali.
AI service technical guidance is carried out with the aim of increasing the knowledge and skills of inseminators in carrying out artificial insemination on cattle in the field in an effort to increase the cattle population in Bali. The technical guidance material is also delivered by resource persons from academics and also from related agencies. The material in this IB service technical guidance includes: Bali Cattle Farming Business Management (Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Gde Sumardani, S.Pt., M.Si from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University), Indonesian National Standards for Bali Cattle (Ir. I Made Londra, S.Pt, MP, IPU, ASEAN.Eng from the Center for Implementation of Standards for Agricultural Instruments), Health and Reproduction of Bali Cattle (Dr. drh. I Gusti Ngurah Bagus Trilaksana, M.Kes from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University), and Engineering Counseling (Drh. Jose O.A. Sarmento from BIBDPTHPT Bali Province).
