Working Visit of the Dean of FK Unud to Leiden University Medical Center and Erasmus

Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud), Prof. Dr. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, took part in a working visit to the Netherlands organized by the Association of Indonesian State Medical Faculties (AFKNI) from 16 to 22 September 2023.

The aim of this collaborative visit is to increase international cooperation between state medical faculties in Indonesia and universities in the Netherlands. During the visit, various opportunities for collaboration in the fields of research, education and community service were discussed.

In particular, Prof. Januartha took the time to conduct an exploration with the Dean of Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) Prof. Pancras Hogendoorn, under the umbrella of collaboration with AFKNI. Prof. Januartha also signed a collaboration with Erasmus, represented by Dr. JL Noewen, with a scope of cooperation that includes Tridharma PT, especially sending lecturers for further Master's or Ph.D.
