Architecture Study Program Students Achieved in the 2023 Storefront Architectural Design Competition

The achievements made by students of the Architecture Study Program in the architectural design competition "Showcase 2023: Compact House" at Semarang State University are achievements that deserve thumbs up. This competition seems to be a good place to compete and collaborate with students from various universities, considering the participation of 150 teams in this competition.

 

 

The team consisting of Pande Kade Tabah Dewantara and I Made Yudha Ariawan won third place in the event with the work title "Koma House." This achievement demonstrates their ability and creativity in designing innovative architectural solutions to overcome the problem of limited land availability in line with the ever-increasing population growth.

 

 

The concept of "Compact House" in this competition event seems very relevant to the issues of urbanization and population density. The focus on the effectiveness of the functions in each room and the creation of a comfortable dwelling that meets the needs of the occupants is an important aspect of designing sustainable housing solutions.

 

Guidance from Ir. Gede Windu Laskara, S.T., M.T. also plays an important role in the success of the team. This shows the commitment and dedication of the lecturers in guiding their students towards glorious achievements.

 

Hopefully this achievement will inspire other students to continue to innovate in designing architectural solutions that have a positive impact on society and the environment amidst the challenges of urban development and population growth.
