Extension of Cooperation between the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University and Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan.
In connection with the plan for collaborative research activities for the Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program with Kaohsiung Medical University, a team from Kaohsiung Medical University visited the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University to discuss extending the collaboration document. The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, represented by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., received the arrival of partners in the Dean's Meeting room, Unud Faculty of Medicine Building, Denpasar. (11/07/2023).
Starting the meeting, Prof. Ady expressed his gratitude for the continuation of the collaboration which was interrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Kaohsiung Medical University through the team leader, Prof. Aij-Lie Kwan conveyed plans for research collaboration with the Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program which on this occasion was represented by Prof. Dr. dr. Sri Maliawan, Sp.BS(K)., FICS., and hopes that the cooperation documents can be extended to cover collaborative activities in the field of Higher Education's Tri Dharma.
The event continued with a presentation from Prof. Hong-Lin Su regarding research progress and publications related to stem cell therapy that has been implemented and future research plans.
Prof. Sri Maliawan welcomes the planned research collaboration in the field of neurosurgery, and will contact Prof. Hong-Lin Su regarding further research plans. This meeting was also attended by the Coordinator of UPIKS FK Unud, Dr. dr. HE. Ika Wahyuniari, S.Ked., M.Kes., and the Kaohsiung Medical University team.
