PDIH FH UNUD Holds Socialization of Customary Forest Management as a Tourism Destination Area

Padang Tegal Traditional Village, Ubud, FLUNUD.ac.id - The Doctoral Study Program of Law Faculty of Law UNUD held a Social Service with the topic "Socialization of Customary Forest Management as a Tourist Destination Area in accordance with the Regulation on Village Pedruwen Based on the Customary Village Regulation" on Friday (28/04/2023) at the Padang Tegal Traditional Village Compost House, Ubud, Gianyar.
The socialization was opened directly by the Dean of Faculty of Law UNUD (Prof. Dr. Putu Gede Arya Sumerta Yasa, S.H., M.Hum) and attended by the Operational Manager of Mandala Suci Wenara Wana (Monkey Forest), Penglingsir of Padang Tegal Traditional Village (Dr. AA Gde Oka Parwata., S.H., M.Si), Chairperson of the Committee (Dr. Ni Luh Gede Astariyani, S.H., M.H.), Lecturers and Tendik FH UNUD and PDIH Students FH UNUD. The first speaker, Lecturer FH UNUD (Dr. I Gusti Agung Mas Rwa Jayantiari., S.H., M.KN) with the material "Management of Customary Forest as Padruwen Village by Customary Village"; the second speaker, Monkey Forest Operations Manager (I Nyoman Sutarjana) presented the material "Mandala Suci Wenara Wana Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary" and the third speaker, PDIH FH UNUD Student (I Kadek Dony Hartawan...), S.H., M.Kn) his material was entitled "Regional Regulations Protecting Indigenous Peoples in the Management of Customary Forests as Tourism Objects." The three speakers were moderated by I Gusti Ngurah Parikesit Widiatedja, SH, M.Hum.LLM, Ph.D..
The speakers and participants were very enthusiastic about participating in this social service activity because they had the opportunity to share and exchange information and knowledge regarding the management of Indigenous Forests as tourist destinations in accordance with applicable legal regulations so as to provide benefits to all stakeholders.
