Unud FK Students Won 3rd Place in the 2023 Nutriday Competition

Unud FK Students Won 3rd Place in Essay Competition at the Nutriday Competition 2023 Palembang Health Polytechnic.

An encouraging news came from a FK UNUD student on behalf of Ni Putu Rista Pradnya Dewi (Bachelor of Medicine Study Program 2022) who successfully won 3rd place in the National Level Essay Competition at the 2023 Nutriday Competition with her work entitled "Utilization of SKIM (Machine Oil Milk) As an Effort to Prevent Stunting in the Fetus from the Beginning of Pregnancy". From a literature review conducted on the essay, it was found that a mixture of milk and mackerel oil has the potential to prevent stunting in the fetus because there is a high protein content in milk and mackerel oil. Provision of mackerel oil milk is given to pregnant women during pregnancy to meet the nutritional needs so that the risk of stunting can be prevented early on.

This competition was organized by HMJ Nutrition Poltekkes Palembang in order to celebrate National Nutrition Day with the theme "Prevent Stunting, a Healthy and Highly Competitive Generation as a Superior Nation's Investment for the Future." This competition was also attended by students inside and outside
South Sumatra from various universities in Indonesia.
