Udayana University's Faculty of Medicine held a workshop on international accreditation.
The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, made preparations for internationalization by holding an International Accreditation Workshop for the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, which invited speakers from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Airlangga University (Unair) and Udayana University's LP3M. (2-3 December 2022)
The event which was held in a hybrid manner with the main location point at the Samahita Ballroom, Rumah Luwih, Gianyar was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Medicine, Study Program Coordinators, Unit Coordinators, and the international accreditation task force team of the Faculty of Medicine, Unud.
Guided by moderator dr. I Wayan Sumardika, M.Med.Ed., Ph.D and dr. I Gusti Putu Suka Aryana, Sp.PD., K-Ger., FINASIM, the three speakers invited to this event are:
1. Ir. Pepen Arifin, Ph.D from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences ITB
2.Dr. dr. Maftuchah Rochmanti, M.Kes from the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University
3. Ainul Ghurri, S.T., M.T., Ph.D from LP3M Unud.
Dean of FK Unud, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, who attended directly to open the event, in his remarks said that institutional development is an absolute thing that must be done in order to meet future demands from both external and internal stakeholders, and internationalization is a form of recognition to institutions.
"With more and more institutions opening medical faculties, of course the competition will be very tight, for this reason we must continue to develop ourselves through internationalization, so that our study programs can be recognized internationally to be able to compete in the future.
I hope that with this workshop, we can get a more comprehensive picture and provision towards international accreditation," he said.
After it was officially opened, the event continued with material presentation sessions by resource persons and discussion sessions
