FK Unud Supports Health Service Continuity at Lewoleba Hospital in Lembata Regency, East Flores.
The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) has again carried out monitoring and evaluation of cooperation as well as expanding the network of vehicles for independent senior residents of the Clinical Pathology Specialist Study Program as an effort to improve the quality and continuity of health services in Eastern Indonesia. The Unud Medical Faculty visitation team conducted a feasibility assessment related to the request of the resident of the Clinical Pathology Specialist Study Program, where previously the cooperation agreement with the Lembata Regency Government had covered health services in the fields of surgery as well as anesthesiology and intensive therapy.
Located at the Lewoleba Regional Hospital, Lembata Regency, the Director of the Hospital, the Head of the Medical Services Division and the staff directly received the visitation and monitoring and evaluation team of FK Unud.
In his remarks, the Director expressed his gratitude for the willingness of the Unud Medical Faculty team to build cooperation to improve health services in remote areas and sincerely hoped for the addition of a Senior Resident of the Clinical Pathology Specialist Study Program in health services at Lewoleba Hospital.
dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, Ph.D, representing the FK Unud visitation team also expressed his gratitude for the trust given and hoped that this collaboration could be continued as an independent vehicle for senior residents to improve skills and add insight/experience.
The event was then continued with a visit to the Laboratory Unit and Blood Transfusion Unit of the Lewoleba Hospital to see facilities, visit data, case variations, resident residences, and infrastructure related to health services as well as those related to the safety and security of students.
After the visit, the visitation and monev team continued the discussion agenda regarding the request of the resident of the Clinical Pathology Specialist Study Program and evaluation related to the cooperation that had been going on so far so that in the future the collaboration between Lewoleba Hospital and FK Unud could run well and smoothly in an effort to provide health services in Indonesia.
