FH UNUD Participates in the FGD “Observing the Need for a Regulatory Framework for the Medium and Long Term Issue: Space Law, Economy and Digital”

 

 

Thursday, 27 October 2022 Directorate of Law and Regulation Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (Ditkumlasi Ministry of PPN/Bappenas) in collaboration with UNUD held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) “Observing the Need for a Regulatory Framework for the Medium and Long Term” which raised the issue of Space Law, Economy and Digital at Novotel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel & Residences ITDC Complex. The FGD took place in a hybrid manner (online and offline) which was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Law UNUD (Dr. Putu Gede Arya Sumertha Yasa SH, M.Hum) who represented the Chancellor of UNUD and on that occasion the PLT. Deputy of Polhukhankam (Dr. Ir. Slamet Soedarsono, MPP, QIA, CRMP, CGAP, CACP gave a speech. The 3 (three) speakers were presented: Prof. Dr. –Ing. Ir. Kalamullah Ramli, M.Eng (Professor of FT University of Indonesia), Prof. IB Rahmadi Supancana, SH, MH (Professor of Faculty of Law Atmajaya University), Alif Nurfakhri Muhamad, SH, LLM (Lecturer of Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia) and moderated by Dr. I Gusti Ayu Putri Kartika, SH, MH (Wadir Postgraduate UNUD) Several lecturers from the Lab/Section of Constitutional Law, Fundamentals of Law, Criminal Law, International Law, State Administrative Law, Law and Society attended the FGD offline. This event was held to prepare a background study on the Long-Term Development Plan National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2025-2045 and National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025-2029. This FGD agenda focuses on the potential of space for Indonesia's development and how to accommodate space needs in Indonesia's national legal regulations. Space space, which is regulated in Law No. 21 of 2013 concerning Space has not yet become an integrated and comprehensive legal basis for the implementation of outer space, for example waste management.
