LÍGIA TOMÁS CORREIA GETS DOCTORATE OF ANIMAL SCIENCE FAPET UNUD

The Faculty of Animal Science, Udayana University, has again given birth to a Doctorate in Animal Science, Lígia Tomás Correia is the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Policy Coordinator in Gender Affairs at the National University of Timor Lorosa'e (UNTL), through an open doctoral promotion examination led by the Chairperson of the Session, Coordinator Animal Science Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University Prof. Dr. Ir. Ni Nyoman Suryani, M.Si (Monday, October 3, 2022).

The Promoter Team consists of Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Suarna, M.S, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ni Nyoman Suryani, M.Si, and Dr. Ir. I Gusti Lanang Oka Cakra, M.Sc. Today's Doctoral Promotion presents 6 supporting lecturers and 4 academic invited lecturers from Fapet Unud. The successfully defended dissertation was entitled "IMPACT OF ASSOCIATION OF KATE'S ELEPHANT GRASS (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) WITH CLITORIAN LEGACY (Clitoria ternatea L.) ON ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS OF PLANT GROWING, CARBON SUPPORT, AND IN VITRO GREEN digestibility.

The results of the dissertation study found that the dose of rhizobium inoculum 10 g kg-1 of C. ternatea seeds when planted was the best for legume clitoria (C. ternatea L.) in a monoculture pattern, administering liquid organic fertilizer based on cow feces with a concentration of 1 liter of POC. compared to 2 liters of water and the frequency of giving liquid organic fertilizer (POC) twice a day is the best for elephant grass kate, and planting elephant grass kate and legumes with an association pattern with 2, 3 or 4 between elephant grass kate fertilized with POC and rhizobium inoculum can provide good digestibility values ??in the association pattern for dry matter (BK) were 71.69%, organic matter (BO) 65, 86%, crude protein (PK) 36.28% and crude fiber (SK) 16.61% forage and effect on plant growth conditions, carbon uptake and in vitro digestibility of forage..” explained Lígia Tomás Correia. The aims of the research were: 1. To evaluate the impact of the clitoria legume (Clitoria ternatea L.) with the dose and time of adding rhizobium inoculum to the environmental conditions of plant growth. 2. Evaluating the impact of kate elephant grass with the concentration and frequency of application of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) based on cow feces on environmental conditions for plant growth. 3. Evaluating the impact of the association of kate elephant grass with legume Clitoria (Clitoria ternatea L.) on environmental conditions of plant growth, carbon sequestration, and in vitro digestibility of the forage.
