Komang Satria Wibawa Putra Successfully Received a Doctorate Degree at the Doctoral Program of Law, Faculty of Law UNUD
Denpasar— Doctoral Study Program of Law Faculty of Law Unud again scored a new Doctorate through an open exam on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 which was held in the Hall of the Faculty of Law Unud. The new doctor named Komang Satria Wibawa Putra is a lecturer at the National Education University (Undiknas) Denpasar. The open exam led by the Co-Prodi Doctor of Law, Faculty of Law Unud with the Promoter Team: Prof. Dr. Ni Ketut Supasti Dharmawan, SH., M. Hum., LLM, Dr. Urged Putu Dewi Kasih, SH., M. Hum, Dr. I Ketut Westra, SH.,MH and 4 other examiners. Komang Satria Wibawa Putra's dissertation entitled "A Model for the Protection of the Rights of Workers with Disabilities in Private Companies." The regulation of the rights of workers with disabilities in private companies based on Article 53 paragraph (2) of Law Number 8 of 2016 and other laws and regulations has not explicitly regulated the indicators or qualifications of private companies that are required to employ persons with disabilities, and the conditions or when a company The private sector is required to employ persons with disabilities. Meanwhile, there is a gap in norms related to technical guidelines that clearly regulate job design or fields of work that can be filled by workers with disabilities. Persons with disabilities must be guaranteed their survival as respect, protection and fulfillment of human rights by the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) to live a better, advanced, developing and beneficial life for the country. So that a model for regulating the rights of workers with disabilities in private companies is needed that is fair in the future, focusing on the existence of clear guidelines to facilitate private companies in employing people with disabilities by paying attention to the balance between the competencies possessed by people with disabilities and the financial capabilities of private companies with promote harmonization and relevance of laws and regulations to prevent legal uncertainty and legal vacuum.
