Initiation of Cooperation between the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and Three Thai Universities

 

The Faculty of Medicine, Unud, initiated a collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, Mahidol University, Thonburi university, and Chulalongkorn University, Thailand (16/08/2022).

This online meeting discussed plans for cooperation in the field of Higher Education Tri Dharma between Udayana University Medical Faculty and Faculty of Medicine at three universities in Thailand. The meeting was chaired directly by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K). The event was also attended by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Coorporate Study Programs for Medical Degrees, Coorporate Programs for Medical Profession, and UPIKS Coordinator. Mahidol University was attended by Assoc. Prof. Prapat Wanitpongpan, MD. Thonburi University was attended by Prof. Saranatra Waikakul, MD, Prof. Dr. Aphicat Asavamongkolkul, and Prof. Dr Tanwan Kummalue. Meanwhile, from Chulalongkorn University, Dr. Chindanai Hongsaprabhas and Prof. Unnop Jaisamrarn, MD., M.HS as Associate Dean for International Affairs.

The initiation of the collaboration was warmly welcomed by the three medical faculties at 3 Thai universities. This collaboration will be followed up with the preparation of MOU documents at the University level, and MOA at the Faculty level. It is hoped that in the future, in addition to cooperation in elective student exchanges and other academic activities, there will also be collaborations in the fields of research and community service.
