Getting to Know Gonadotropin Therapy Through Udayana Andrology Update VIII (UAU8)
Globally, hormonal imbalances account for about 10% of all cases of male infertility. Manifestations of the disorder can be in various ways, ranging from sexual dysfunction to deteriorating sperm quality. Hormone imbalance conditions in male infertility can generally be detected and treated properly, one of which is gonadotropin therapy.
Against this background, the Department of Andrology and Sexology of FK UNUD again held an Online Seminar on Udayana Andrology Update VIII (UAU8) with the topic "The Use of Gonadotropins for Male Infertility" which discussed scientifically the handling of Gonadotropins for male infertility problems. This activity was opened by the Dean of FK UNUD, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., and in his speech expressed his hope that this activity can take place continuously and provide the latest insights on Andrology, especially to colleagues in peripheral areas.
In his report, the chairman of the committee and moderator, dr. I Gusti Ngurah Pramesemara, S.Ked, M.Biomed, Sp.And said that this event was attended by 222 participants from all over Indonesia.
This time, the UAU VIII webinar presented 2 (two) very competent resource persons, namely Dr. dr. Dicky Moch Rizal, M.Kes, AIFM, Sp.And(KFer) from FKKMK UGM and dr. Yukhi Kurniawan, Sp.And(KFer).
